Several months ago, a certain unnamed black and white dog chewed through the power adapter cord for a WiFi/Bluetooth side table with built in speaker, wireless charging device I purchased and since then, I have not been able to use it to play music.

I am sure I could have gotten the cord fixed but I wanted to get a new cord. I figure it would be an easy request. Not the case…

It’s been on a literal slow boat from China for the past several months. I finally got a text message from them yesterday that it’s ready to pickup.

Yay !!!

So, I scheduled a pickup for 9am this morning. I need to drive to South Calgary to their distribution center to get it, that’ll be about 30 minutes there and then, 30 minutes back.

I’m getting it for free, so that’s a good price at least.

I’m also going for lunch to Airdrie Wok, unsurprisingly, a Chinese buffet with excellent food. I’m hitting that up with a former coworker, Milton. Should be a good lunch and it’ll be nice hanging with Milton for a couple of hours.

I then plan on listening to music on my speaker. I hope it still works and I can figure it out again.
