We headed to Banff yesterday and took the Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. The weather was absolutely perfect.

We ate lunch at the restaurant at the top of Sulphur Mountain, great food.

We headed back to Calgary and DH made his nearly world famous spaghetti sauce for dinner, it was good I have 4 containers frozen for later on.

Today, we are heading to the Calgary Stampede. We’ll head to High River to pick up my sister in law and we’ll have breakfast at Smitty’s.

It’s free entry to the Stampede today between 10-1, so that’ll save us $28 each on entry. The weather is supposed to be hot today, 26C-28C, hot for Calgary anyway.

It’s been a great week with my friends, they head back to Idaho Wednesday morning and are back to work Thursday. The dogs and I will get back into our normal routines. I’ve had more food in the last week than I normally do in two weeks, I’ve probably put on 5 pounds.
