As I’ve posted, I purchased a natural gas BBQ which was delivered 3 weeks ago now. I still haven’t been able to use it.

The building doesn’t allow propane BBQs, not exactly sure why, but, they do have a natural gas outlet for each apartment.

I connected the BBQ after buying an adapter to connect it to the gas source. Nope, no gas.

I let the building manager know about it. I’ve been given numerous excuses as to why the gas isn’t on, they don’t really add up. I have been promised it will be rectified this coming week, I’m not holding my breath.

At any rate, I really felt like trying the jalapeno cheese burgers I purchased so I tried pan frying them.

Believe it or not, I’ve never pan fried a hamburger before. They were excellent and I’ve discovered a new method to cook hamburgers. I also discovered that frozen hamburger buns (from Cobs) thaw perfectly in 45 seconds (for 2).

The burgers were amazing, so I’ll for sure buy them again (got them from Airdrie Lawn and Leisure).

I’m hoping that one of these days I’ll be able to use the BBQ, for now, I wait (patiently) and you all know how patient I am.
