I’m attending an umpiring clinic this morning. This must mean that spring is right around the corner, right?

Well, one can hope. It’ll be a cold and cloudy day today. I doubt we will be outside. The weather will be dry, but with the amount of snow we’ve had, I’m doubting we’ll be outside.

I’ve already been scheduled for games starting at the end of the month. Centennial Little League in Calgary reached out to me and I’ve told them I’ll do games for their league as well. It should keep me out of trouble.

The clinic today is with Babe Ruth Calgary. The schedule should be posted in the next week or so. We self assign those games so I’m sure I’ll grab some double headers on the weekends. I don’t want to do any more than 4 or 5 games a week, so it should work out well.

I’m sure warmer temps will arrive anytime now and the fields will dry up. Let’s Play Ball !!!
