I’ve got insomnia again, have had it for the past 2 months or so, off and on. I woke up at 1am. Now, I did get 4.5 hours of sleep which is basically a minimum for me to be able to function.
I have had it in stints for the last 30 years or so. I’ll sleep poorly for a few months, typically no longer than about 6 months and then I’ll sleep fine for months, sometimes as long as a year and a half, then fall back into not sleeping well again.
I’ve been to sleep studies previously, when I was back in Ontario. I don’t have sleep apnea or anything odd, I’m unsure why it occurs.
Anyway, I tend to watch movies to pass the time until “morning”, although it’s morning now, most of the world is asleep.
I guess I’m used to it now, it’s been happening so long. It tends to be a winter thing as well, so, I’m hoping my current bout will end soonly.
Sleep well.
