I received a “statement of account” from my former landlord. In a word, he’s an asshole.

I paid a security deposit of $2250 when I moved in. There were some missing items which I agree to pay for. He tried to charge me for assistance with my move to the tune of $120 for 4 hours of work. He offered, he didn’t tell me he was charging me. Ridiculous.

I had my housecleaner clean, he tried to charge me over $900 for a “light cleaning”. How about you fuck yourself?

There were also charges over $700 for repairs which aren’t reasonable. I’m thinking he’s probably on crack, that’s my guess anyway.

I don’t know where he came up with his numbers but they are way out of whack. I’ve told him I’m not paying what he’s asking for.

I don’t know if he’s going to revise his numbers or if he thinks I’ve fallen off a turnip truck, but he’ll turn blue holding his breath on what he asked for.

There are good landlords and then there’s him. A complete asshole.
