I have been off of work since February 17. It hasn’t been a vacation really as I moved, but, it is nice being off regardless. Today is my last day off, I am back to work tomorrow. My office is mostly setup, I need to clean my desk a bit, some junk has migrated to it, that will be done today.

I am unsure what project I will be working on when I return. I don’t think I will be with the Airbus client any longer. In speaking with my boss, he is trying to find a new dedicated client for me to work with. I don’t think we have any right now, but we are expecting one in the very near future. For now, I have some AI training that I need to complete and a Windows 2023 Server course that I want to get through as well, so, I will be able to keep busy.

Airbus was ok, but it was very dead. There aren’t a lot of tickets at all. I had a run-in with the technical lead and the tranaition engineer. The TE decided to share some comments I made to my boss and it got me in a bit of trouble. I suppose you really can’t trust anyone these days, everyone has their own agenda I suppose. After over 30 years in IT, I should realize this, but, I guess I had more trust in people than I should.

So, for now I will do some training until it is figured out where I will be working, or rather, what project I will be working on.

I will finish the last odds and ends in the new place today. The moving boxes should be picked up today, finally. I still need to pay for them as well. After today, the place should be totally setup and stuff destined for the storage locker should be in place. All in all, not a bad move.
