When I say weekend, it was 4 days long. I was off Wednesday through Saturday, which happens every other week, pretty sweet actually. When I say lazy, I really didn’t accomplish much of anything.

Wednesday was a nothing day, literally. I didn’t even take the dogs for a walk since Twix hurt her paw on Monday and she was still limping a bit (she’s fine now). Same on Thursday. Accomplished nothing.

On Friday I took a roadtrip down to Crowsnest Pass and had a great time. It’s always good to see friends that you haven’t seen for ages.

I tried to put together a plan for Saturday to get my to-do list done. It failed. I did get my chili made at least. My former landlord gifted me some ground moose and elk mixed with pork and I used that as a base for a batch of chili. It simmered all afternoon and wow, it was amazing. Likely one of the best batches of chili I’ve ever made. I made a giant pot of it and chili freezes well so I’ll have chili for some time.

As for my to-do list, well, nothing else got touched. I still need to setup my new smart TV. I need to to setup a couple of small appliances. Sigh…

It was still a great 4 days off and they zoomed by, so, apparently, I wasn’t bored.
