Another late post…  I have to stop getting in after midnight.

Friday was a day off for me.  We call them ADO’s (comment deleted by author).  Not a bad deal, we work an extra 1/2 hour per day and get every 3rd Friday (or whatever) off.

So, today I let the dog out about 7:15am.  Went back to bed.  Woke up again shortly after 11am.  Showered, did a bit of running around, had a nap.  Yes, I had a nap after getting up at 11…  Went for dinner (AGAIN, this is WAY too often, but whatever). 

Friday night was poker night.  The Poker Gods favoured me tonight.  It was like a roller coaster ride for most of the evening.  At one point I was almost eliminated but was able to more than double up.  I won a HUGE hand with a pair of 2’s.  Who wins with a pair of 2’s?  Well, me I guess.  I also had a couple of other great hands.  Towards the end, the blinds were $500 and $1000 with only $1500 in starting chips.  I won a few hands on a high card or a low pair.  Anyway, with 9 guys playing I won first place of $50.  A newby, the “Guy with two first names” came in second ($30) and Bill who almost never wins got his $10 entry back.  A good night all in all.  Mike actually made it on time too which is some sort of miracle.

I have to help with the SCMBA Bingo on Saturday morning, in about 8 hours actually.  Guess it is time to turn in for the night.  Later…
